Everything that you and I discussed during the pre-arrival period was more than matched by the actual receipt of my pedal. As I had mentioned to you my main objective was to find a pedal that enhanced the sustain qualities of my present set-up (Fender Strat, Line 6 amp/Mesa Boogie).
As a matter of fact my expectations were not only met by your product, but, they were exceeded in the actual use and playing and hearing of it in practice. I love my REVELATOR pedal, and nothing and no one will keep me from using it as I please.
The distinctive sound characteristics and other properties of my REVELATOR are so cool, because, while it does deliver all of the tone quality sustain that I had been looking for, it does not just give me that nasty "wall of sound" junk noise that you can sometimes obtain from like an "Overdrive" with "Tube Screamer" types of combos thingy.
You guys are the best!!! And, you don't have to worry about it, it will be my pleasure to pass it on!!!

Oh my goodness, I love this pedal. I daisy chained it w/ a boss noise suppressor and couple other pedals. It has the best bypass by far over my other pedals. I also combine the temptation w/ my old DOD vintage distortion pedal for insanely thick distortion. I can't say enough about this pedal. Thank God for Alpha Omega FX! Thanks again.

Dana, the pedal is awesome. I used it Sunday at both services and it sounded great.
Not only does it look fantastic, but it sounds incredible. I am very pleased.

Sunday afternoon I ran it through my Taylor K4 eq to try a little recording. It sounds clean in the effects loop as well.
This thing is quality, and you are to be commended for your passion to build pedals that perform.

Hi Dana-
I just wanted to let you know that The Temptation arrived safe and sound on Saturday and I got to take it through its paces at church the next day. I have to say, when I compared it to the other mass-produced pedals (and even some boutique ones) on my board, I was really struck by the care you put into the graphical design on the outside, and I have to say I think the aged cream looks even better in person. As for the sound itself, I can honestly say the Temptation exceeded my expectations. I originally ordered it to replace a modern Rat, as I was unhappy with the lack of clarity and a persistent hum when activated. The Temptation pulled off the sound I was looking for perfectly (without a Hum!), and worked equally well with my single coil Strat, and my dual humbucker Tele. Pulling off the high gain distortion I needed and with such clarity and lack of hiss was such a relief. I even used it with open chords and capos for several of the songs and was pleased to hear the complex chords coming through clearly!
However, where I was really surprised was in the added versatility of the extra stages -- the volume boost and the tubescreamer you included. Rather than fiddle around too much with the knobs, I found a setting I liked for the Rat stage and then flipped the knobs back and forth. They were absolutely fabulous for milder overdrives! Using a second overdrive, I alternately used it as a volume boost for lead and a fuzz type sound as well. In the end I used it for almost every song for our set at my church of 3,000 people this week. Next Sunday I'll be trying it out in the studio and I'm really exciting about using it to push some drive into some 50s and 60s Fenders and an AC-30. Thanks again-- we will definitely be in touch about getting our lead singer a Temptation soon as well!
